I got on my treadmill, out of habit, at dawn;
And the day, in straightjacketed routine, marched on.
It was evening when I realized that I’d never sought
Out a new idea or a single new thought!
I looked up to see a silver filigree–
The moon through the fronds of a coconut tree:
And this moment was pure serendipity;
Unsought, but visible only to me!
I just needed to unblinker my eyes and they’d see
That this marvelous convergence of Space, Time and Me
Would repeat not– this side of Eternity!
